Weekly roundup
Hey You👋
Here’s what I’ve been up to
Working on quite a few things at once, so it felt a bit all over the place.
Wrote the 4th blog of my SaaS writing challenge
Explored Zapier automation while writing it (from a user POV)
Started another blog around newsletters (my playbook) — still in progress & under review
Worked on my SaaS portfolio (still overthinking it, but it’s much better now)
Upcoming things
What’s Cooking Next?
Wrapping up my newsletter playbook blog
Working on the next piece, a Substack vs Beehiv comparison
Continuing the SaaS writing challenge to get better with every blog
Feedbacks on the Newsletters
This makes it worth writing every edition!!

Slow but Moving!
What I did (even when it felt uncomfortable)
Pitched a client → he asked for samples
Planning to follow up soon (hoping it converts)
Also spoke to a few writers this week…
And honestly, everyone seems to be dealing with the same thing — clients not really valuing quality content.
Little Achievements
Small wins (keeping me going)
Got good feedback on my recent Zapier blog
Two of my recent editions were well received
Saw traction on both LinkedIn and Substack
Gained ~8 new subscribers
Took a Pause
Reality check
This week wasn’t very smooth.
Felt lazy at times, a bit slow, and couldn’t stay consistent on LinkedIn.
But I’m trying to get back on track next week.
Also realised something — it’s okay to slow down sometimes.
Even big creators pause.
Outside of work, I watched a few movies.
Reading has been on pause, but trying to get back to it now.
Probably spending the weekend watching a bit more, catching up on saved posts, and reading.
That’s it for this week.
Right now, I’m focusing on:
1. Getting better at SaaS writing
2. Staying consistent with my challenge
3. Slowly building a strong portfolio
4. Converting new SaaS clients
PS. Reading for the first time? Check the previous editions below that might be helpful for you:
PS: What did your week look like? Productive or just trying to keep up—either way, would love to hear.
See you next time 👋
